I don't want to sound unreasonable, since I know icons are hard to come by for rare characters, but if you're playing her as a child, maybe all her icons should be her as a child? Some of the comic things are her as an adult.

Naw, anon. I think it's a fair enough thing to point out. I'm trying to get some icons of her from the appropriate age, it's just taking me awhile since I'm a crappy icon-maker. I hope to have everything about this journal sorted out before I app anywhere (voice and graphics included), so I can only ask you to wait a bit? Hopefully, over the next week I'll get everything more up to snuff.

Thanks for commenting, though. I'll make the icons a top priority to keep anyone from getting confused on her timeline.

I only wanted to say that The Girl is adorable, and that I really hope you end up apping to FC (but if you don't I hope I'll be fortunate enough to run into you elsewhere, because gosh. This thread gives me happy feelings).

My goodness this is just so sweet. Thank you! I'm so glad you've enjoyed her, it gives me a lot more confidence playing her when other people like her too!

I may still decide to app, but if I do it'll be later in the month. I'm glad the game has such nice players in it!

I'm technically not a player myself just yet — but soon, I hope! (I'm being lazy with Marlin/Ernest's app, figuring out the nitty-gritty details of OC timelines is a nuisance. But I'm determined to get it in within the next couple of days!)

But yeah, I definitely like The Girl! I'm not overly familiar with Killjoys canon, but she reads really believably as an energetic 10 year old kid. I feel I can never quite hit the note when playing kid characters, so I appreciate it when other players can.

I couldn't figure out how to message you any other way, so I'll just say it here. I am loving this thread we are working on right now so much. I was actually considering dropping Ivy and Grey... and this is reminding me so much of why I LOVE playing Ivy! Thank you! I am having a lot if fun!

Oh, an in another part of the post, someone 4thwalled them an answer in a way that perfectly fits how Ivy and Grey's understanding of Ivy's world works, and so once IRL settles, there will be a wedding!
